Fractal traces its roots back to 2017, when Benjamin, Jean-Michel, and Charles met on their first day in the robotics engineering program at the University of Sherbrooke. Throughout their undergraduate studies, they collaborated on various projects, developing a strong team synergy. In 2023 , a year after starting their careers, they decided to embark on entrepreneurship by founding Fractal Robotics Solutions.
Initially focused on robotic consultation, the company quickly evolved to become a Quebec leader in the integration and customization of service and cleaning robots.
