GT7, the robotic reel mower for golf courses and sports fields
The GT7 is a robotic reel mower built for turf where cut quality makes all the difference: golf fairways, tees and approaches, and sports fields. Its three floating cutting units mow from 5 to 50 mm across a 1.6 m width, guided to within ±2.5 cm. Fractal handles installation, mapping and local support.
The clean cut of a reel, with no operator
The GT7 pairs the clean cut of a reel mower with autonomous navigation to keep your playing surfaces in shape, day after day.
Reel cutting
Three 125 mm reels with 8 or 11 blades: a short, clean cut from 5 to 50 mm.
Slopes up to 30°
Four-wheel drive and floating units: an even cut over mounds and rolling terrain.
Up to 7 ha per charge
26 kWh LFP battery: up to 70,000 m² (17 acres) per charge in non-collection mode.
Why a reel mower?
A reel mower cuts grass like a pair of scissors: the helical blades of the spinning reel pass against a fixed bedknife and slice cleanly instead of tearing. The result is a short, even, precise cut, the finish expected on fairways, tees, approaches and sports fields. The GT7 carries three 125 mm-diameter reels on floating units that follow every undulation of the ground. Height of cut is set from 5 to 50 mm with a toolless dial: 6 to 15 mm on a tee, 10 to 18 mm on a fairway, 20 to 30 mm on a sports field.
Centimetre-level navigation and crisp stripes
The GT7 combines RTK positioning, 3D LiDAR and cameras to know where it is to within ±2.5 cm, so every pass lands where it should, task after task, with no operator. Program the cutting angle, direction and lane offset, and the robot lays down crisp stripes worthy of professional fields. It also drives itself from one mowing zone to the next along pre-mapped routes, on a map of up to 100 ha (247 acres). Managers follow its location, task progress and system health remotely, with instant error alerts.
Self-emptying collection, quiet and safe mowing
Depending on turf conditions, the GT7 either just mows or collects as it goes: its dual-fan vacuum pulls clippings, fallen leaves and light debris into a 130 L grass box. When the box is full, the robot drives off to empty it, then returns to the exact spot where it stopped. All-electric, it runs near-silently with the suction turned off, so it can mow early in the morning, in the evening or during opening hours. Its LiDAR, cameras and ultrasonic sensors detect people and vehicles so it can stop, wait or steer around them.
