GT3, the compact robotic mower that also sweeps
The GT3 is a compact commercial robotic mower built for fragmented grounds: corporate campuses, industrial sites, logistics centres and resorts. It cuts, vacuums and collects clippings and leaves in a single pass, then sweeps walkways once its blades are disabled. Fractal handles installation, site mapping and local support, and the GT3 is available now in Canada.
Mowing, collection and sweeping in one robot
With a 36 in cut, a 60 L grass box and twin side brushes, the GT3 leaves tidy lawns and clean edges without a follow-up cleanup crew.
Cutting and collection at once
Three rotary blades cut while the vacuum picks up clippings, leaves and light debris.
Walkway sweeper
With its blades disabled, the GT3 sweeps paths, sidewalks and other hard surfaces on site.
Auto-dump and task resumption
When the box is full, it empties it on its own and resumes mowing exactly where it stopped.
Mapped in one lap, positioned to ±2.5 cm
A single autonomous lap is all the GT3 needs to build a map of the site and detect where turf meets paved surfaces. The saved layout can then be edited to add no-go zones and transit routes. By fusing RTK, 3D LiDAR and vision, the robot positions itself to within ±2.5 cm and keeps its passes consistent, task after task. It also drives on its own between lawns and pitches along mapped routes and resumes mowing on arrival, with no manual handling. One map can cover up to 100 hectares (247 acres).
Built for public spaces and the outdoors
On a campus or in a park, mowing often happens with pedestrians and vehicles nearby. The GT3 recognizes people, vehicles and objects such as hoses or light poles, then slows down, steers around them or stops depending on the level of risk. Its all-metal chassis of heavy-duty steel, rated IP66 for weather resistance, is built for demanding commercial schedules and harsh outdoor conditions. Headlights, turn signals, a warning light, a status light and an emergency stop switch round out the equipment, and a joystick lets an operator drive it manually when needed.
Productivity and remote monitoring
Its 13 kWh LFP battery delivers 4 to 5 hours of work and covers up to 20,000 m² (2 hectares, 5 acres) per charge, at a rate of up to 5,000 m² per hour. Standard charging takes 4 to 5 hours, or 2.2 hours with the optional 6 kW fast charger. From the app, managers track the robot's live location, task progress and system health, and get an instant alert when an error occurs, which means fewer on-site checks. Fractal installs the GT3, maps your site and provides local support across Québec and Canada.
